Cynthia Donovan, MS, RDN, CDN: The Period Nutritionist specializes in helping active women recover from under fueling, rebuild cycle health, and restore confidence in their body through evidence-based nutrition and recovery support.
Early in her career, Cynthia began noticing the same question from clients over and over again: What supplements should I be taking while I’m rebuilding my cycle?
It was a question she understood personally. Cynthia herself went through hypothalamic amenorrhea (HA) and knows how confusing the recovery process can feel for active women trying to support their bodies while returning to proper fueling and training balance.
Every Phase Matters was created from that intersection of professional expertise, lived experience, and the needs of the women she works with every day.

For many active women, intense training combined with under-fueling can disrupt the menstrual cycle.
Loss of a regular cycle is often a sign that the body is under significant stress and not receiving the energy it needs to support hormonal health.
Recovery requires more than simply waiting for a cycle to return. It requires proper fueling, reduced training stress, and support for the body as it rebuilds balance.
